Daily Schedule (Monday-Friday for 2 weeks)

11:00-12:00  Online Class w/ Instructor
12:00-1:00    Arduino Simulation Lab

Our virtual hands-on Arduino robotics camp integrates live online instructor-led classes and virtual simulations to learn to build and program electronic circuits and Arduino robots. No electronic components/materials or robots needed as students build and program in a virtual simulator of the Arduino microcontroller. Camps will run daily from 11:00-1:00, split between live online sessions (11:00-12:00) and circuit building/programming/testing sessions on the simulator. Simulation Labs can be completed online from 12:00-1:00 or anytime afterwards, but prior to the next day’s live online class. Campers will need access to a computer and the internet. Camps will run Monday through Friday for two consecutive weeks.

Our virtual hands-on Raspberry Pi robotics camp integrates live online instructor-led classes and virtual simulations to learn to program Raspberry Pi robots. No real robot is needed as students connect to and program robots located at an “undisclosed location” via the internet. They will complete different exciting challenges each day and be able watch their robots perform. Camps will run daily from 1:00-3:00, split between live online sessions (1:00-2:00) and programming/testing sessions on the web-based robots. The Simulation Labs can be completed online from 2:00-3:00 (with instructors available for questions) or anytime afterwards, but prior to the next day’s live online class. REQUIREMENTS: Campers must have access to a Windows PC and download and install both Python and necessary communications software. The software is free. Camps will run Monday through Friday for two consecutive weeks.

Our virtual hands-on EV3 robotics camp integrates live online instructor-led classes and virtual simulations using Carnegie Mellon's Virtual Brick to learn to program Lego EV3 robots. No real robots or parts are needed as students program a virtual robot to complete a series of exciting challenges using the programming concepts covered in the online classes. Camps will run daily from 9:00-11:00, split between live online sessions (9:00-10:00) and programming/testing sessions on the simulator. Simulation Labs can be completed online from 10:00-11:00 (with instructors available for questions) or anytime afterwards, but prior to the next day’s live online class. REQUIREMENTS: Campers must have access to a Windows PC, download and install EV3 programming software, and install the virtual brick software. The EV3 software is free and we will provide a temporary license for the virtual brick software. Camps will run Monday through Friday for two consecutive weeks.
